Από τον Μάιο του 2020 έως και σήμερα έχει φιλοξενήσει αρκετά σχήματα αλλά και σόλο καλλιτέχνες, κάνοντας έναρξη με τον κύκλο «Συνύπαρξη», δίνοντας έμφαση στη σχέση ήχου και κίνησης, στην performance, στη σύνθεση, καθώς και στην ανάδειξη γυναικών καλλιτεχνών, από όλο τον κόσμο, που ανήκουν στην αυτοσχεδιαστική, πειραματική, σύγχρονη, νέα και ηλεκτροακουστική σκηνή, αλλά και σε άλλου είδους multimedia παραστάσεις και παρουσιάσεις έργων, όπως και σεμιναριακούς κύκλους.
Στην πορεία δημιουργήθηκε ένας πυρήνας καλλιτεχνών και ένας χώρος με αρκετά events και multimedia κύκλους, όπως το καθιερωμένο πια «Closing Night: Music for Aquariums – All Night Drone», που γίνεται με τη συμμετοχή 30+ μουσικών, χορευτών, εικαστικών, visual artists και δημιουργών της avant garde, σύγχρονης και αυτοσχεδιαστικής σκηνής της Ελλάδας.
Το στούντιο Ον Off βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της Αθήνας (Φειδιππίδου 22) και δημιουργήθηκε από την άναγκη να υπάρχει χώρος και χρόνος για καλλιτεχνική έρευνα. Αυτή η ανάγκη οδήγησε στην απόφαση να γίνει αυτός ο χώρος υπαρκτός, με επικέντρωση στη συνύπαρξη καλλιτεχνών από τον χώρο της μουσικής, του θεάτρου, των εικαστικών και της ποίησης-κινητικής και γραπτής.

Since May 2020, it has hosted numerous ensembles as well as solo artists, opening with the cycle “Coexist,” placing emphasis on the relationship between sound and movement, performance, composition, and on highlighting women artists from around the world who belong to the improvisational, experimental, contemporary, new, and electroacoustic scene, as well as other kinds of multimedia performances, presentations of works, and seminar cycles.
Over time, a core group of artists was formed, and a space with numerous events and multimedia cycles emerged, such as the now established “Closing Night: Music for Aquariums – All Night Drone,” which takes place with the participation of more than 30 musicians, dancers, visual artists, visual creators, and artists from the avant-garde, contemporary, and improvisational scene of Greece.
Ov Off Studio also hosts workshops and masterclasses on improvisation, composition, physical theatre, and other artistic practices.
Located in the centre of Athens, Greece (Feidippidou 22, 3rd fl.), Ov Off Studio was created out of the need for a space dedicated to artistic research.
The studio focuses on the coexistence of artists from the fields of music, theatre, poetry, visual arts and movement, with emphasis on composition and on the shared need for investigation.
The space hosts workshops, rehearsals, live recordings and shoots, events, presentations and live performances.
The studio is a single space of 80 square meters, created with the mission of bringing together romantics, believers, non-believers, spontaneous spirits, and artists without borders.
